Get involved in Moffat Seed Library!
For gardeners and growers:
- Join Moffat Seed Library
You can easily join. Just fill out this simple form, and you’ll be able to access our collection of seeds. You can order up to 10 free packets of seeds (donations are always welcome). We use a ‘click and collect’ system, so we’ll prepare your order and make it available for you to pick up at a convenient location in Moffat. - Join Our Facebook Community
Our Facebook group is a great place to connect with other members. Share seeds, plants, and gardening tips, ask for advice, or just vent about the slugs and snails that destroyed your courgettes. The group offers a space to grow your own and make new connections. - Donate Seeds
Got extra seeds or ones you won’t use? Donate them to the Moffat Seed Library! Just label your seeds, place them in an envelope, and drop them through the letterbox at The Studio Theatre, Dundanion Road, Moffat. - Save and Share Seeds
At the end of each growing season, save your seeds and consider donating some of them back to the library. Need help? We have tips on how to save seeds here.
For Non-Gardeners:
- Even if gardening isn’t your thing, you can still be part of Moffat Seed Library. We need volunteers for all sorts of roles – from packing seeds to helping with fundraising or putting up posters. Email us to find out more!
- You can also support our fundraiser to help cover costs like buying seed packets and paying for things like domain names. Every little bit helps!
By getting involved, you’ll not only help Moffat Seed Library thrive, but you’ll also be helping to create a stronger, more connected community. Whether you’re a gardener or not, it’s a chance to be part of something that’s building a sustainable, shared resource for everyone in our area.
So, if you want to make a difference, no gardening experience required, we’d love to have you join us. Together, we can help the Seed Library grow and ensure that it remains a valuable resource for years to come.
