How we’re taking forward your suggestions

Thank you to everyone who completed our 2026 survey. We received 13 thoughtful responses from people with a wide range of growing experience.

You told us that the Seed Library is a useful local resource, but that it needs to be easier to find, easier to understand and more active throughout the year. You would also like more opportunities to share plants, seeds, experience and local growing knowledge.

We’ve used your responses to help shape what happens next. Our plans include clearer information and regular updates, more growing guidance, further development of our Local Seeds collection, more opportunities to meet and share, and a small seedling pilot in spring 2027.

Our first next step is the Seed and Plant Swap at ShareFest on Sunday 18 October. We’ll also use the afternoon to collect local growing knowledge and hear what people would like the Seed Library to offer next.
