Best Grown: Outdoors or under cover, also good in containers
Sowing Time: March–September
Plant Out: Late April onwards for early sowings, once risk of frost has passed
Harvest Time: April–November (approx. 3–6 weeks from sowing)
Spacing: Thin seedlings to 15–20 cm apart in rows 25 cm apart
Height: Leaves grow low and compact, around 10–20 cm tall

Why grow it?

How to grow: Sow outdoors March–September, or under cover for early and late crops. Sow thinly, 1 cm deep, in rows 25 cm apart. Thin seedlings to 15–20 cm apart. Keep soil moist for tender leaves. Harvest whole plants young or pick individual leaves as needed.
Cooking / usage ideas: Tender leaves add mild mustard flavour to salads, stir-fries, soups, and steamed vegetable dishes.
