How to grow: Sow indoors Jan–March with warmth. Transplant seedlings into individual pots when large enough. Harden off and plant out May–June in greenhouse beds or a sunny, sheltered spot outdoors. Space plants 30–40 cm apart. Feed and water regularly. Pick young green peppers for mild flavour.

Cooking / usage ideas: Classic Spanish tapas — fry whole peppers in olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt. A delicious snack where one in ten might surprise you with heat.
