How to grow: Sow indoors Jan–March with warmth. Transplant seedlings into individual pots once large enough. Harden off and plant out May–June in greenhouse beds or a sunny, sheltered outdoor spot. Space plants 40–50 cm apart. Feed and water regularly. Harvest chillies when bright red or yellow and firm.
Cooking / usage ideas: Use sparingly in hot sauces, stews, jerk marinades, and salsas for authentic Caribbean heat and sweet fruitiness.
