How to grow: Sow direct outdoors March–August or start under cover for earlier crops. Sow thinly, 0.5–1 cm deep, in rows 25 cm apart. Thin seedlings to 15–20 cm apart. Keep soil moist. Harvest leaves regularly to encourage new growth.
Cooking / usage ideas: Add fresh to salads, omelettes, sauces, and soups for a mild, sweet anise flavour. Best used raw or added just before serving.
