How to grow: Sow indoors March–May or direct outdoors after frost risk has passed. Sow thinly, lightly cover with soil, and keep moist. Transplant seedlings 25–30 cm apart. Prefers well-drained soil and plenty of sun. Harvest leaves as needed throughout summer.
Cooking / usage ideas: Use leaves fresh in herbal teas, salads, or Asian-inspired dishes. Flowers are also edible and beautiful as garnishes.
