Plant Out: April onwards for early sowings, once frost risk has passed
Harvest Time: June–September (approx. 8–12 weeks from sowing)
Spacing: Thin seedlings to 25–30 cm apart in rows 30 cm apart

How to grow: Sow outdoors March–July or under cover for earlier crops. Sow thinly, 0.5–1 cm deep, in rows 30 cm apart. Thin seedlings to 25–30 cm apart. Keep soil moist for crisp heads. Harvest when heads feel firm and well-formed.
Cooking / usage ideas: Excellent for fresh salads, sandwiches, or as crisp leaves for wraps. Sweet and crunchy texture.
