How to grow: Sow outdoors March–August or under cover for earlier crops. Sow thinly, 1 cm deep, in rows 25–30 cm apart. Thin seedlings to 20–25 cm apart. Keep soil moist to prevent bolting. Harvest young leaves for salads or mature plants for cooking.
Cooking / usage ideas: Delicious in stir-fries, soups, steamed, or raw in salads. Mild flavour pairs well with garlic, ginger, and soy.
