How to grow: Sow seeds indoors April–May into pots, or direct sow outdoors once soil has warmed. Plant out after the risk of frost has passed, spacing plants well to allow airflow. Water regularly, especially during dry spells, and feed weekly once flowering begins. Harvest fruits frequently while young to encourage continued production.
Cooking / usage ideas: Delicious grilled, sautéed, roasted, or used raw in salads when picked young. The flowers are also edible and excellent stuffed or fried.
