How to grow: Sow outdoors April–July once the soil has warmed. Sow seeds 3–5 cm deep, spacing 15–20 cm apart in rows 45 cm apart. Keep well-watered, especially during flowering and pod formation. Harvest young for tender green pods, or leave pods to mature and dry for use as dried beans.

Cooking / usage ideas: Use young pods fresh in stir-fries, steamed, or in salads. Dried beans are excellent in soups, stews, and casseroles, adding both visual appeal and creamy texture.
