How to grow: Sow seeds indoors Feb–April, or directly outside March–April. Sow thinly in trays or drills, 1 cm deep. Transplant seedlings outdoors April–May, spacing 10–15 cm apart in rows 25–30 cm apart. Keep soil moist and weed-free. Harvest when tops yellow and fall over. Allow bulbs to dry for storage.

Cooking / usage ideas: Perfect raw in salads or sandwiches, or cooked in stir-fries, roasting, and sauces. Keeps well into winter if properly dried.
